To the French and English speakers - or to the English speakers that know how the French speak ze English

Three people were attending a job interview in England and had to undergo an English test.
The recruter asked the three of them to build a phrase that included the following words:

green, pink, yellow

The Belgium takes the initiative and says:

I wake up in the morning, I eat a yellow banana, a green pepper and in the evening I watch the Pink Panther on TV.

(a yellow banana? a green peper in the morning? oh, well, he's Belgium...)

Then, the German follows and says:

I wake up in the morning, I see the yellow sun, the green grass and I think to myself: I hope it will be a pink day.

(a happy German? I think one should check his passport...)

Finally, the French builds up his courage and says:

I wake up in ze monink, I ear ze phone: green.... green.... green.... I pink up ze phone and I say: Yellow?
