Bits and pieces

• World Cup fanatic - watching almost all matches. Today something unusual will happen: I will watch my first ever Brazil WC match alone, at home. Hubbie has professional dinner, parents will be traveling, son will be sleeping and I'll be going bananas all by myself.
• It has been a week of catching up with my old friends in Brazil: my heart is just like the weather: humid, heavy, stormy and warm.
• I forgot I had a conference to attend to this morning. That is how tired I am. No big deal, though, I have been to it last year and it wasn't that interesting.
• In secret, I do hope the French do not make it today. Allez Swiss et Togo!
• ... pfffff.... going back to duties and hoping the day doesn't take too long to finish
